The Headwaters Loop Trail (0.8 miles) and Hanging Rock Trail (0.6 miles) can be combined for an easy hike through the woods. Hollow Rock Nature Park was created as part of the New Hope Creek Corridor, a joint greenway planning effort between Durham and Orange counties. We recommend accessing the Stony Creek Bluff Trail (1 mile) from the northern parking lot and connecting to the loop of the Dairy Farm Trail (0.9 miles). Some trails south of NC-10 are multi-use paths that allow mountain biking, while the trails north of NC-10 are all hiking-only and do not allow biking. “ Brumley Forest TLC Nature Preserve Chapel Hill NC” by bobistraveling is licensed under CC BY 2.0 Trails cross alongside, over, and around the Eno River, with fishing possible along the Eno River itself.
